Introduction:
Hi! My name is Emily. I am a growing therapist that hopes to continue helping others even if it may be a miniscule amount. I am passionate about working with adolescents, the LGBTQIA+ community, those with school anxiety/avoidance behaviors and family relationships.
I enjoy incorporating interests into therapy. For example, do you enjoy video games, art, poetry or music? We can use that! I aim to create a safe and comfortable space for my clients. I truly believe that people can thrive in therapy when it is developed for them specifically.
In addition to incorporating interests, I believe in using a variety of modalities to treat my clients. I use cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness and self-compassion. I continue to learn and grow so that I may best serve my clients on their path to healing!

“You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, 'I have lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along.' You must do the thing you think you cannot do.” -Eleanor Roosevelt
